PASCAL "PAT" MARCO --- Partner & VP, New Business Development
Born and raised on the far South Side of
Chicago, Pascal "Pat" Marco grew
up in the Calumet region of Lake Michigan in a gritty steel-mill neighborhood known as "The East Side."
Pat has been in sales for over 25 years,
and his East Side upbringing provided him
with a strong Midwest work ethic where a handshake was all anyone needed to make things work.
He's proud of his Italian ancestry and is thankful for a family who knew the value of a
good education, having received both Bachelor's
and Master's degrees in Media and Communications
from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
He began working regularly in the 8th grade,
saving and eventually paying for his entire
collegiate schooling, while continuously
working at dozens of different jobs, paying his own way through college.
He began his professional career in media
production in Chicago as a corporate video
producer, winning several awards for excellence.
After a brief teaching career, he
went into broadcast video sales in the Windy
City where he eventually formed his own company,
placing freelance video production personnel.
One of his first clients was Harpo Studios,
who called upon his agency to supply them
with video production and post-production
workers when Oprah Winfrey opened her now
world famous Chicago production facility.
Many of the people Pat placed at Harpo are
still working there to this day, a testament to his keen sense
of being able to select the right people
for the most demanding and high profile jobs.
It's this same skill he brought to Arizona when he formed his own media replication company, which he eventually sold, before joining Joe Dimerling in DGI Print Management.
On a personal note, Pat is also a published novelist. His book, IDENTITY: LOST, has been published in hardcover and in all eBook formats, as well as in audio. It's also available in over 200 libraries worldwide. An award-winning finalist in the 2011 USA BOOKNEWS AWARDS, his book also went to #1 on Amazon in the Kindle Store, officially making him a best-selling author.
